Photos you add to your profile are associated with you and what the account represents. If you want to spice up your account profile in Windows 11, add a cool and unique picture to define who you are and what you care about. Windows allows you to add pictures to your profile to distinguish your account and identify you on the login screen from other Windows profiles. By default, if you don’t add an image to your account profile, a black image space will be added and left blank. All users will have the same image, except for unique account names. When setting up an account image, you can take and use pictures that you snap from your laptop camera or download and import pictures from anywhere. Once you add a picture, you should see the new image on the login screen to identify your account. If you sign into Windows 11 with a Microsoft account, your account picture will be synced across all devices that you signed in with using a Microsoft account. People who have you as a contact will also see your image associated with your name in Windows as a contact.
